    • Born and raised in Germany, schooled in England before moving to the States when I was 18. Enjoy cooking, gardening and tennis. My wife, Ingrid, and I started dating when we were 20 years old, and have been married for 35 years now. We have a son and 2 daughters.

How did you first learn about CIO Solutions?
  • My brother told me that his friend John Petote was looking for an experienced purchaser.
     
     
Before working at CIO Solutions, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
  • Unusual? I was a shuttle driver at Miami Int’l Airport for PanAm flight crews, while going to college. Interesting? I was a tour guide to German tourists shortly after the fall of the Berlin wall. The “West” Germans refused to sit anywhere near the “East” Germans on the tour buses. I learned a lot about Florida. Mostly I led the tours in German, but on occasion in German, English and French simultaneously.
What is the one food you cannot resist?
  • Pretty much any pasta dish.
     
     
What could you give a 30-minute presentation about with no advance preparation?
  • Cooking a healthy balanced meal & presenting it on a properly set table.
     
     
What is your proudest moment at CIO Solutions?
  • No single event stands out. Witnessing the camaraderie between our 2 merged companies over the past 2 years, and the teams that continue daily to share their knowledge and skills with one another.
